FIR Registered Against BRS MLA Aides for Assaulting YouTuber
HYDERABAD: An FIR was reportedly registered against the aides of BRS MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy for allegedly beating a YouTuber up within the Pocharam IT Corridor police limits. The MLA’s aides filed a counter case against the YouTuber, Suresh Yadav.
According to Pocharam inspector Ashok Reddy, the FIR was registered two days back, after three of the MLA’s aides — Karunakar Reddy, Sathish Reddy and Dayakar Reddy — allegedly beat up Suresh Yadav. According to the MLA's aides, Yadav had reportedly entered the Anurag University premises in Venkatapura village, and recorded a video of it, the inspector said.
“The property is being surveyed by irrigation officials. These people basically take care of the property. Two FIRs were registered, as the MLA's aides too filed a counter case against Yadav,” inspector Ashok Reddy said.
A video of the YouTuber had also gone viral on social media platforms. In the video, the YouTuber is seen lying on the ground, with his shirt torn off, reportedly by the aides.
Yadav is heard saying: “I went to Palla Rajeshwar Reddy's Anurag University in Ghatkesar with cameras from Royal media channel. Some of Palla's followers video called the MLA, and he told his followers to kill me and dump me into the lake without anyone knowing, so they threw me into the mud and attacked me and tried to kill me, but I escaped and fell near some trees.”
“They took away our cameras and our chips (memory cards), and tried to kill us. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy must be arrested immediately, and we are demanding to bring the land out.”
“Revanth Reddy sir, I will not leave this at all. What wickedness is this sir, around 160 people with rods, axes while Palla Rajeshwar Reddy was on video call…”
