Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in a house in Vivek Nagar of Ramanthapur on Wednesday. Locals suspect that the blaze was triggered by the explosion of a battery-powered bike which caused the fire to spread. Eight other bikes in the parking area were also burnt in the incident.
The parking lot contained a total of two battery bikes and seven other two-wheelers. Locals managed to bring the fire under control before it could spread further.
The Uppal police arrived at the scene and registered a case and they have begun an investigation into the incident.
