Five ganja peddlers arrested in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: The southwest zone task force along with Mangalhat police arrested five peddlers and seized 10 kg ganja and other property worth `3.1 lakh from them.
They have been identified as Mahender Singh of Dhoolpet, Suman Bai of Mangalhat, Amar Singh of Katedan and suppliers Bharath Alyana and his wife Padma, Odisha natives. The suppliers had been previously arrested by the Khammam One Town police along with 32 kg of ganja.
At that time Mahender Singh got acquainted with the Alyana couple through a common friend. Further, Mahender Singh joined his sister-in-law Suman Bai and brother-in-law Amar Singh and they started sale of ganja in the twin cities, police said.
The three were arrested while taking delivery from the Alyanas at Mahender’s house in Dhoolpet. The arrests were made under the supervision of DCPs Y.V.S. Sudheendra and S. Balaswamy
