Food Poisoning at Nursing Hostel, 50 Students Affected
Hyderabad: A serious case of food poisoning has stirred up concern at a girls' hostel in Chandanagar, Hyderabad. The incident occurred at the Suman Hostel of Bansilal Malani College of Nursing, where several students fell ill after consuming food at the hostel.
The students who ate at the hostel started experiencing symptoms like vomiting and diarrhoea, leading to widespread alarm. Approximately 50 students were affected by food poisoning. The hostel management transported the ill students to a nearby private hospital for immediate treatment. Out of the 50 affected students, six are reported to be in critical condition, causing significant worry among their parents. The incident, which actually took place last Sunday, has only recently come to light.
