Formula E Race: Telangana HC reserves verdict in KTR's quash petition

Hyderabad: Telangana High Court has reserved the orders in a quash petition filed by former minister and BRS working president KT Rama Rao in connection with the Formule E race case. The court also extended the interim orders of protection from arrest till the pronouncement of judgement.

On December 19, the ACB registered a case against KTR for alleged misuse of government funds in conducting the Formula E race in Hyderabad last year when the BRS was in power.

The First Information Report (FIR) was registered under Sections 13(1)(A) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, along with Sections 409 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
