Gadwal Police Arrest 6 Bike Thieves, Recover 35 Stolen Bikes Worth Rs 30 Lakh
Jogulamba Gadwal: Police arrested six persons in connection with a bike theft case on Monday and recovered 35 stolen bikes worth Rs 30 lakh from their possession.
The investigation began following a complaint filed on November 28 at the Gadwal Town police station, where a resident reported that their bike had been stolen from a parking area on November 13.
Explaining the modus operandi, SP T. Srinivasa Rao stated that the accused formed a group, conducted recce in target areas and stole motorcycles. They later sold the bikes at low prices and shared the amount among themselves.
The accused were identified as Gandhi Chinna, Nagaraju, Vamsi, Rafi, Naveen, Waheed, Adarsh Kothakota, Radhakrisha. Six of them were arrested while the other two accused are absconding, police said.
