GHMC Chief Tells Officials To Resolve Prajavani Complaints on Priority Basis
GHMC commissioner K. Ilambarithi, who accepted the complaints at the office, directed officials to take strict action against illegal constructions.

Hyderabad: Around 139 complaints were received across all six zones of GHMC during the Prajavani programme on Monday. Of them 57 were received at the civic body’s head office. Senior officials from various departments were instructed to act promptly and ensure timely justice to the people.
GHMC commissioner K. Ilambarithi, who accepted the complaints at the office, directed officials to take strict action against illegal constructions. He said that once a speaking order is issued, further action must be taken up immediately.
Around 25 complaints that were received at the head office pertained to the town planning department, 12 for tax section, three complaints each for engineering maintenance and finance departments, two complaints each for UBD and land acquisition wings, one each for sanitation, UCD, electrical and administration departments, and six phone-in complaints.
Among zones, Kukatpally received 29 complaints, LB nagar and Secunderabad 19 each, Serilingampally 10, Charminar four while Khairatabad zone received one complaint.
