Hyderabad:The GHMC town planning wing demolished unauthorised structures and shops occupying footpaths on the Mailardevpally-Durganagar stretch on Saturday. Officials removed nearly 125 structures using six machines, under police cover.
A GHMC official said the width of the road was 150 feet but had been narrowed by encroachers constructing sheds. He stated that that GHMC would widen the road.
