Hyderabad: The GHMC received nearly 290 complaints during the Prajavani programme conducted at its head office, six zonal offices and the Hyderabad collectorate on Monday. A press release said 49 in-person complaints were received at the head office and seven over the phone-in facility.
The six GHMC zonal offices recorded 70 complaints. Another 172 complaints were filed at the collectorate. At the GHMC offices, the complaints pertained to illegal constructions, road restoration and sports facilities. At the Collectorate the complaints were related to the government’s free housing scheme and land acquisition.
