GO 317 Victim Employees and Teachers JAC to Observe Black Day on Dec 6
HYDERABAD: The GO 317 Victim Employees and Teachers JAC said it would observe a ‘black day’ on December 6 to press its demand for repeal of the government order. The day marks the third year of the passing of the GO in 2021 by the previous BRS government.
Polytechnic Lecturers wing president Sandeep Pogula in a release said, “The Congress promised to repeal the GO within 48 hours after coming to power. A committee was constituted to study the issue. After nine months the
government is saying that they need to write to the centre to do justice to our nativity demand. We will pray for the departed souls who passed away to rest in peace because of this issue.”
The JAC said that when he was TPCC president, A. Revanth Reddy had said that solving GO 317 meant solving the nativity issue. All the ministers who had spoken on it before coming to power but were silent now.
