Government approves four new police stations in Peddapalli
The state government on Tuesday gave a green signal to the establishment of four new police stations in Peddapalli district.
The government released G.O. numbers 85 and 86 for the establishment of police stations at Peddapalli Rural and traffic police station mandals and fulfilled the demand of people in Peddapalli district.
It also released G.O. numbers 87 and 88 for the establishment of a police station at Eligaid mandal and a women police station in the district headquarters of Peddapalli.
Speaking on the occasion, Peddapalli MLA Vijay Ramana Rao, who is credited with the initiative for the new police stations, alleged that during 10 years ruling by the BRS government, development in Peddapalli district had lagged far behind. But after the formation of the Congress government, several development activities were taken up in the district, fulfilling the promises made to people.
He expressed thanks to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and IT minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu for releasing the G.O. for the establishment of four new police stations in Peddapalli.
It also released G.O. numbers 87 and 88 for the establishment of a police station at Eligaid mandal and a women police station in the district headquarters of Peddapalli.
