Hyderabad: Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy clarified that the Telangana state government has no plans to abolish any districts. Speaking in the legislative council, he stated that the government has no intention of abolishing the existing districts.
The minister also mentioned that state governments often approach the Center for funds, but the funds are not always forthcoming. He pointed out the limited funds received during the previous BRS rule. He assured that this government is dedicated to serving the poor and will focus on their welfare.
