Govt committed to filling up vacancies, says Sridhar Babu
Hyderabad:The government is committed to filling all vacant government positions on a regular basis by resolving legal and procedural challenges in the recruitment process, said IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu, adding that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had placed special emphasis on filling vacancies in the home department.
The minister was addressing the passing out parade of 196 fire driver operators at the Telangana State Fire Services and Civil Defence Training Institute, Vattinagulapally, Rangareddy district, on Saturday.
"The recruitment process, which was stalled for the past decade, has been revived under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy," the minister stated.
Sridhar Babu praised the services of the fire department personnel, particularly their critical role during the floods in Khammam. "Whenever a crisis arises, they step forward with determination to safeguard lives. Their work is exemplary, embodying the spirit of service and brotherhood," he said.
Addressing the newly inducted driver operators, who completed a four-month training programme, the minister congratulated them on their achievement. "As you step into your roles, I urge you to uphold integrity, efficiency and professionalism. Treat the public with respect and fulfill your duties with dedication," he advised.
Special chief secretary, home, Ravi Gupta and fire services DG Y. Nagi Reddy, Rajendranagar MLA T. Prakash Goud, MLC B. Dayanand and others were present in the meeting.
