Group-I services preliminary test will be conducted on June 9

Hyderabad: Telangana Public Service Commission has informed the applicants’ of Group-I Services that the preliminary objective type test in OMR mode will be conducted on June 9 from 10.30 AM to 1 PM.

Candidates will be allowed inside the examination centre from 9AM onwards. The examination centre gate will be closed by 10 AM and no candidate will be allowed to enter the centre after 10 AM.

Candidates can download hall tickets from 2 PM of June 1, 2024 onwards from the Commission's website https://www.tspsc.gov.in till the commencement of examination, according to Dr. E. Naveen Nicolas, Secretary.

Candidates are not allowed to bring calculators, pagers, cell phones, tablets, pen drives, bluetooth devices, watch, mathematical tables, log books, log tables, wallet, handbags, ‘jholas’, pouches, writing pads, notes, charts, loose sheets, jewellery or any other gadgets/electronic gadgets or recording instruments strapped on their body or pockets.

Possession of the same will lead to invalidation of candidature for the examination and examinations. Candidates are instructed to wear only chappal and not shoes.

Candidates are informed not to leave the examination hall until the completion of examination time. Before leaving the examination hall, the candidate should hand over the OMR answer sheet to the invigilator.

Candidates are informed that the capture of biometrics of the candidates by biometric invigilators would start from 9.30 AM in the examination hall allotted to the candidate and no candidate should leave the exam hall until his/her biometrics are captured by the biometric invigilator.

If any candidate does not give his/her biometrics, his/her OMR answer sheet would not be evaluated. Candidates are advised not to have mehendi, temporary tattoos or any obstructive material-covers on their fingers which may hamper the recording of biometrics.

The candidate shall note that the Commission does not provide any cloakroom or storage facility to safe guard any valuables or belongings of the candidates.

It is further informed that for convenience of the candidates, the caution bell will be rung after completion of every half an hour to assess the time. The candidates can also know the time from the invigilator of the exam hall.

The Commission informed the candidates to visit the centre at least one day before the examination to make sure of the location and to avoid last minute confusion.
