Harish Rao Placed Under House Arrest Amid MLA Kaushik Reddy’s Arrest

Hyderabad: Former minister and BRS legislator Harish Rao has been placed under house arrest by the police. A heavy police personnel have been deployed at his residence in Kokapet to maintain law and order.
The move comes in the wake of the arrest of Huzurabad MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy by the Karimnagar police on Monday.
During a review meeting held at the Karimnagar Collectorate on Sunday, a heated argument reportedly broke out between Kaushik Reddy and Jagityala MLA Sanjay, escalating tensions.
Following complaints regarding the incident, three cases were registered against Kaushik Reddy at the Karimnagar First Town Police Station. Acting on these complaints, the Karimnagar police arrested Kaushik Reddy in Hyderabad on Monday evening and shifted him to Karimnagar.
