Hearing on graft in public library to come up in Telangana HC
NIZAMABAD: Koneru Sai Kumar, convener of the Bapuji Vachanalaya Protection Committee, alleged on Sunday that significant irregularities occurred during the elections for Bapuji Vachanalaya. He stated that a case regarding the matter will be presented in the High Court within the next four weeks.
Speaking to reporters, Sai Kumar mentioned that Bapuji Vachanalaya has been serving as a public library in Nizamabad for the past few decades. He claimed that each household registered more than 20 votes to influence the outcome of the Bapuji Vachanalaya elections. “My nomination for the Bapuji Vachanalaya elections was rejected by the authorities,” he said.
"We will bring all issues concerning the public library to the attention of Nizamabad residents," Sai Kumar added. The Communist Party of India (Marxist), Communist Party of India, CPI-ML New Democracy, and various civil rights associations have declared their support for the Bapuji Vachanalaya Protection Committee.
