Huge Rush of Devotees at Yadagirigutta
Yadadri-Bhongir: The Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple at Yadagirigutta witnessed a large influx of devotees on Sunday, the auspicious day of Shravana Nakshatram in Kartheeka Masam. It took three hours for devotees to have a regular darshan and one hour for a special darshan. Devotees began lining up at the temple as early as 4 am. The Mada Veedulu was crowded with devotees throughout the day.
It is believed that visiting the temple on Shravana Nakshatram in Kartheeka Masam, a rare occurrence, brings good fortune.
Many couples participated in the Sathyanarayana Swamy Vrathams held at the Vratha Mandapam down the hill shrine. Prasadam counters, Kalyana Katta, and Lakshmi Pushkarini were bustling with devotees.
Nijabhishekam and Narasimha Homam were also performed in the temple. Due to the high turnout, private cars and SUVs were restricted from accessing the hill shrine.
