Hyderabad: The Balanagar special operations team and the Balanagar police, arrested three persons for trafficking hashish oil worth Rs 13.5 lakh from Odisha to Hyderabad on Friday. Police seized 2.590 litres of hashish oil from the accused, Ramavath Lalu, Kethavath Vijay Kumar, and Sambavath Suman from Telangana. Another accused, Kiran, a native of Odisha, is at large,
Police said Suman was earlier arrested by the Golugonda police in Andhra Pradesh in 2021. During his time at the Visakhapatnam jail, he got acquainted with Kiran, and later arranged for the supply of drugs. Vijay Kumar, who he was familiar with, got customers for Suman.
Vijay Kumar was arrested and sent to jail thrice in NDPS cases in the past in Odisha, police said.
