Hyderabad: A 40-year-old lorry driver was reportedly murdered by his friends in inebriated state due to previous enmity here in Attapur on Saturday evening.
The victim is identified as Mohd Layeeq (40) from Suleman Nagar. His friends invited him for a drinking-party near PVNR Pillar Number 258 in Attapur. The accused after the drinking session used broken liquor bottle shards to slit Laif's throat, killing him brutally.
As per reports, previous enmity escalated the matter leading to the gruesome act. However, the exact reasons are still unclear, and the suspects are still at large.
The police had arrived at the scene along with the clues team, gathered information, and registered a case to investigate further.
