Hyderabad: An Army Captain succumbed to injuries that he sustained after slipping from his fourth floor residence in Alkapuri Colony on Thursday, Narsingi police said on Friday.
Police identified the deceased as Capt. S. Raj Kumar, with the AMC. He was in the city to celebrate the New Year with his family. While he was on the balcony, he accidentally stepped on a pool of water, slipped and fell to the ground.
His neighbours noticed the incident and informed the family, who shifted him to a hospital for treatment. Capt. Kumar died while undergoing treatment at the hospital at around 5.15 pm on Friday.
A case was registered and further investigation is underway.
