Hyderabad: Cotton Millers Agree to Continue Ops
Hyderabad: State agriculture minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao held talks with the representatives of ginning mills on the norms imposed by the officials of the CCI (Cotton Corporation of India). After the discussion, the millers have agreed to continue their operations. The minister also informed the farmers that they have nothing to worry and can sell their cotton produce at the nearest CCI purchase centre. Agriculture marketing director Uday Kumar, CCI MD Lalit Kumar Gupta, president of state ginning mills association, its secretary and others, attended the meeting.
