Hyderabad District Collector Anudeep Durishetty Asks Docs in Niloufer Hospital to Act Fast on Kids
Hyderabad: District Collector Anudeep Durishetty on Wednesday visited Niloufer Hospital in the city and advised medical officers to register details of children born with congenital defects online and provide treatment to improve their defects. Children should be treated immediately after identifying the defects, he siad.
He visited several departments in the hospital including intensive care block, diagnostic lab, blood centre, quality control room, CCTV, physiotherapy, periodical surgical ward, operation theatre, comprehensive lactation management centre, SNCU centre, and neonatology ward.
He found out from the doctor about the services being provided there and met patients and checked registers.
"Doctors should focus on the health of children born with birth defects. They have been directed to provide treatment to children so that they do not suffer from birth defects for the rest of their lives. It has been ordered to enter information about children born with defects both online and offline," he said Niloufer Hospital superintendent T. Usha Rani, district medical health officer Dr Venkat and RMOK Jyoti participated in the program.
