Hyderabad: EFLU celebrates Constitution day

Hyderabad: The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) commemorated Constitution Day on November 26 with a series of events to promote awareness and appreciation of the Constitution. The day began with Vice Chancellor Prof. Haribandi Lakshmi leading the reading of the Preamble.

He awarded certificates and cash prizes to winners of the Constitution Day quiz held earlier: Souradipta Singha and Sourav Saha.
Prof. G.B. Reddy of the College of Law, Osmania University, delivered a talk, ‘75 Years of Constitution – Experiences and Expectations.’ It examined the evolution of the Constitution since its inception and invited attendees to consider its future role in shaping the nation.

HMWS&SB celebrates Constitution Day at headquarters in Khairatabad

HMWS&SB celebrated Constitution Day at its headquarters in Khairatabad with managing director Ashok Reddy reading the Preamble and administering a pledge to employees. Ashok Reddy spoke on the importance of protecting the Constitution and asked everyone to uphold its values and spirit. He focused on the importance of the Constitution and its role in guiding the nation. Senior officials, including V.L. Praveen Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Mohammed Abdul Khader, Kedareswari, and Ravinder Reddy were present.

Constitution Day grandly celebrated at Rashtrapati Nilayam

The 75th Constitution Day was grandly celebrated at Rashtrapati Nilayam, Bolaram. Over 2,800 students from various schools and colleges including CRPF Public School, Hakimpet; ZPHS Boys, Alwal; Little Flower High School, Old Alwal; Ambedkar Law College, Osmania University; Nizam College and government degree colleges from Gajwel, Huzurabad, Ibrahimpatnam and Malkajgiri, participated.
The ‘Samvidhan Katta’ including debate and essay writing competitions was conducted for students from November 22 to 25. Over 100 students participated, and a jury of professors shortlisted five winners.
The event began with floral tributes to Dr B.R. Ambedkar. Rashtrapati Nilayam staff and the students took the Panch Pran pledge, asserting their commitment to constitutional values. The event included a photograph exhibition, displaying the making and features of the Constitution, documentary screenings on the Constitution's making, and a quiz competition, engaging students with India’s constitutional values.
Hyderabad Civil Court Judge Sai Kiran and Osmania University political science Prof. M. Krishna Kumar were present at the event.
