Hyderabad: Head Constable Chaduvu Yadaiah Honoured With President's Medal For Gallantry
Hyderabad: Head Constable Chaduvu Yadaiah of the Telangana Police has been awarded the President's Medal for Gallantry for his brave actions while on duty. The award recognizes his courage during the arrest of two notorious individuals, Ishan Niranjan Neelamnalli and Rahul, who were involved in chain snatching and arms dealing. The incident occurred on July 26, 2022, under the jurisdiction of the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
During the apprehension of the criminals, Yadaiah was stabbed multiple times in the chest, causing severe injuries. Despite his critical condition, he managed to apprehend and hold onto the criminals until additional personnel arrived. Yadaiah was subsequently hospitalized for 17 days to receive treatment for his injuries.
