Hyderabad: A foundation which offered “hissa” (a share) in large animals for Bakrid and collected, duped hundreds of Muslims in Tolichowki, Jahanuma and other parts of Hyderabad.
Khidmat Foundation, allegedly an NGO, offered affordable shares in animals for Bakrid. It priced the shares at Rs 2,700 and Rs 2,800. Hundreds of Muslims gave their money for their share in animals to celebrate Id-ul-Zuha on Monday.
