Sharing details about the incident, Ramesh, IGP (Provisioning and Logistics), stated: "My eyes suddenly caught sight of a kite thread that would have otherwise entangled around my neck and legs simultaneously. I had a close call in the incident," he explained.
The officer urged citizens to exercise caution and ensure the proper disposal of loose kite threads during the Sankranti festival to prevent potential harm to others.
