Hyderabad: Massive Fire Breaks Out At Ameerpet Shopping Complex
The Hyderabad police confirmed that no casualties were reported so far. The fire accident reportedly broke out in a helmet shop in the complex.
Hyderabad: A major fire broke out at KSR Shopping Complex near Metro Pillar No. 1043 in Ameerpet in the city on Thursday afternoon. The three -storied building was completely engulfed in flames, leading to a major emergency in the busy and densely populated area. Several shops next to the building were also gutted in the blaze.
According to Hyderabad Fire Department officials, seven fire engines were deployed to tackle the fire. Authorities said the flames were brought under control after intensive firefighting operations.
"A fire broke out at a helmet market in Ameerpet, Hyderabad. Seven fire engines were rushed to the spot and are engaged in controlling the fire. No casualties have been reported so far," a fire official said. The incident also caused heavy traffic congestion on the busy main road.
