Hyderabad: MCEME’s new HQ inaugurated
Hyderabad: The Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) in Secunderabad opened its new headquarters named ‘ANUDESH’, meaning directions. The ceremony was led by MCEME Commandant LG Neeraj Varshney, VSM.
‘ANUDESH’ has a foyer reflecting MCEME’s historical legacy and contributions to the Indian Army’s training and development. The management said it was a testament to the institution’s proud past and vision, highlighting the contributions of various Commandants and leading figures, which have shaped MCEME’s growth over the past 75 years.
An artistic centrepiece by contemporary Bengali artist Shri Charbak Dipta captures MCEME’s diverse activities, faculties, and wings through vivid artwork. Seven walls within the space narrate the genesis, evolution, and milestones of the college.
