Hyderabad: Missing bag case transferred to Medipally police station
Hyderabad: A case of theft was transferred to Medipally police station through Zero FIR and the police have launched an investigation. A woman, who was travelling in a cab, misplaced her handbag containing gold ornaments and chain made of pearls.
According to complainant Anand Ram Seshu, the husband of the victim, she had booked a car from Dollar Hills to Prashantnagar in Medipally to attend a family gathering. When she reached the venue, she discovered that her bag was missing. The yellow handbag was containing three gold chains weighing 55 grams, as well as two chains made of gems and a chain made with pearls.
The complainant further stated, “My wife immediately contacted the hailing app cab customer care centre to get the phone number of the driver. When she contacted the driver, he could not find the bag in the cab.”
The case was hence registered at Narsingi police station and later transferred to Medipally police station for further investigation.
