Hyderabad: The city police on Tuesday issued new guidelines on the timings for the establishments. Shops and establishments can be kept open between 9 am and 11 pm.
Hotels, restaurants and eateries will be allowed to stay open from 5 am to 1 am. According to the notification, dhabas, ice-cream parlours, bakeries, tiffin centres, coffee shops, tea stalls, pan shops etc. will be allowed up to 1 am.
Liquor shops can be kept open from 10 am to 11 pm in GHMC and peripheral areas. Establishments where liquor is served through bars and restaurants within will be allowed to function till 12 midnight on weekdays. On Friday and Saturday, they can function till 1 am, according to a release issued by police commissioner C.V. Anand.
