Hyderabad police nabs 3 persons for committing thefts
Three persons held in Hyderabad in theft case

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police arrested three persons for their involvement in a shutter lifting and house burglaries.
The arrested have been identified as Muralidar Mohanlal Sharma, 39, of Thane in Maharashtra, and Chandrabhan Patel, 39, and Udayraj Singh, 48, both natives of Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. While Sharma and Patel were into the clothes business, Singh was working as a security guard.
The police recovered four mobile phones and net cash of Rs.28.62 lakh from the possession of the arrested persons.
The police said the accused gained entry into Deep Engineering Company situated at Kandjarguda in Old Bhoiguda, Secunderabad by lifting the shutter and stole Rs.30.20 lakh from the locker on the intervening night of January 31 and February 1.
After registering a case, two police teams swing into action by checking lodges, call data records and CCTV footage, the police tracked down one of the offenders and on chasing him the other accused was traced at Sitara lodge in Secunderabad.
After being grilled, the offenders admitted that they had committed the offence to earn easy money. They further revealed that they were previously engaged in the textiles business in Secunderabad. During lockdown, they suffered financial losses and became bankrupt. With knowledge of local businesses and large cash transactions in the area, they selected the shop in Secunderabad to commit the crime.
Both Patel and Singh said that Sharma motivated them to commit the offence. The police appealed to the public not to keep huge cash in the shops during night time and to report any suspicious activities in their neighborhood.
