Hyderabad police nabs two persons in drugs case
Hyderabad: The city police on Friday arrested two persons in connection with a drugs case.
While the arrested Pallapu Kalyan (25), a resident of IDH Colony in Gandhi Nagar, was a peddler with previous criminal record, Nanavath Aravind (20), a food delivery boy and resident of Bowenpally, was a consumer.
The police said Kalyan got addicted to consuming ganja, hash oil with Aravind and others. He couldn’t fulfill his lavish expenses. To earn money easily, he hatched a plan to procure hash oil from Odisha at low price and sell it at higher prices to needy customers in Hyderabad and earn huge profits.
As per his plan, a few days ago he hired a car for Rs.2,000 and purchased hash oil in Odisha and brought it to Hyderabad. He then filled about five ml of hash oil into small boxes and sold eight boxes to Aravind and others for Rs.2,000.
Based on a tip-off, the police arrested them and hash oil worth over Rs.2.07 lakh were seized from them.
