Hyderabad police urges Allu Arjun to keep hospital visit confidential
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police requested the film actor Allu Arjun to keep a visit, to the KIMS hospital to call on the nine-year-old boy Sritej, confidential so that the public order can be maintained around the hospital.
In a notice issued to Allu Arjun, Ramgopalpet Inspector T Narsing Rao said the Ramgopalpet and North Zone police had made all arrangements for the actor’s visit to KIMS in Secunderabad at 10.30 am on Sunday.
The arrangements were made after information was received that Allu Arjun will be complying with the conditions set by the police to maintain public order inside and outside the premises. At the last minute, the police received information from the actor’s manager that the visit to the hospital was cancelled to call on Sritej and the boy’s father.
“We reiterate that we are ready to make necessary arrangements for the actor’s visit to see the minor victim at KIMS within the space of an hour also. We request you to keep the visit a confidential one, so that public order can be maintained in and around the hospital,” Rao said. The Ramgopalpet police will escort the actor throughout the trip and ensure that peace is maintained.
Sritej is undergoing treatment at KIMS after suffering serious injuries in the stampede that took place in Sandhya 70 MM theatre on December 4. Since then he is undergoing treatment at the hospital. The boy’s mother died in the incident.
