Hyderabad to Spend Rs 100 Crore on Flood Mitigation Measures
Hyderabad: M. Dana Kishore, municipal administration and urban development department principal secretary, will undertake flood mitigation measures over the next two years at a cost of Rs.100 crore. The corporation has constructed water-holding structures with capacities ranging from 2 to 10 lakh litres.
On Saturday, Kishore inspected water-holding structures at Lake View Guest House. He explained that 11 out of 14 projects, worth Rs.15 crores, had been completed.
The secretary, accompanied by HMDA commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed, HMWS&SB managing director Ashok Reddy, and GHMC zonal commissioner Anurag Jayanti, inspected a water-holding structure near the bus stop.
