A two-year-old girl, Sandhya Chowdry, succumbed to injuries after she accidentally fell from the terrace of her house in Chudi Bazaar, Shahynathgunj on Wednesday.
A two-year-old girl, Sandhya Chowdry, succumbed to injuries after she accidentally fell from the terrace of her house in Chudi Bazaar, Shahynathgunj police said. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening when she was playing with her elder sister on the terrace.
Her mother, who was busy cooking, came to call her kids and found her elder daughter alone. When she searched for Sandhya, she found a group of people and her daughter lying on the road. Sandhya was rushed to a private hospital where the doctors declared her dead. Her father Sajjan Chowdry, a dry fruit dealer, was away at work at that time.
