Heat back in Hyderabad as temperatures soar

Hyderabad: Temperatures in the city are on the rise, with citizens feeling the heat as mercury levels climb.

According to a report from the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), the highest maximum temperature of 37.4°C was recorded in Medchal-Malkajgiri under the GHMC area on August 14.
In Kanaipally, Wanaparthy, the temperature peaked at 38.9°C, the highest in the state on August 14.
The Telangana Weatherman reported that winds are currently very slow, creating ideal conditions for the development of break monsoon thunderstorms. While the day is expected to be very hot and humid, scattered intense thunderstorms are also likely to occur later today.
