HYDRAA: 16 sheds in Kukatpally lake, three multi-storied buildings, 27 villas in Ameenpur demolished

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) officials swung into action on Sunday demolished over 16 sheds in FTL of Kukatpally lake. All the sheds are being used for commercial purposes and are unauthorized constructions, built without taking permission.

Residential buildings occupied by families in Kukatpally Cheruvu were left undemolished.

At Kukatpally lake, a shed raised in the FTL area where catering business is being run and where the staff are living was also demolished.

In Ameenpur, three multi-storied buildings constructed in government land were demolished. Over 27 villas, owned by a builder and two others, were also demolished in the area.

However, villas occupied by families were spared, as promised by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. More houses constructed illegally on government land are being demolished in Ameenpur.
