Hydraa’s dedicated police station to be inaugurated by Jan-end

Hyderabad: A dedicated police station for Hydraa is expected to be functional by this month-end.
The police department already gave its consent to allocate 169 staff for the police station. An Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) rank police officer will head the police station to look into the cases related to violations committed in FTL and buffer zone of water bodies, encroachments of government lands, fire safety violations etc.,
The police station would be established on the first floor of B block in Buddha Bhavan near Ranigunj. The Hydraa is contemplating to complete the process of allotment of staff to the police station before its inauguration by this month-end.
A few engineers from the Irrigation department in addition to officials from Revenue department would also be attached to Hydraa to assist the police in investigating the cases. Analytical and assistant analytical officers would aid the investigators during their investigation after registering a case.
The State government has already issued an order for setting up of a dedicated police station for Hydraa on January 7. Since its inception, the Hydraa has launched a crackdown on those who encroached lands at water bodies apart from demolishing buildings constructed in violation of norms using heavy machinery.
