Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced the Met-Olympiad, an online quiz competition aimed at promoting interest in weather and climate sciences among students. The initiative is part of IMD’s 150th Foundation Day celebrations.
Open to students of Classes 8, 9 and 11, the quiz will be conducted at state and national levels. Registrations can be completed online at https://mausam.imd.gov.in/met-
So far, 584 students have registered for the competition. IMD has urged schools and stakeholders to enhance outreach and publicity efforts to encourage more participation.
