Hyderabad: The Indian Army is to organise a recruitment rally from December 8 to 16 at GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli, to recruit Agniveers from the 33 districts of the state. The recruitment for the Woman Military Police (WMP) personnel will cover candidates from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and the Union Territory of Puducherry, incuding the enclaves of Karaikal and Yanam.
The rally will screen candidates for various categories including Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer clerk/storekeeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman (10th and 8th pass), Woman Military Police.
Applicants who have received admit cards were requested to bring necessary documents as mentioned in the rally notification dated February 12. The recruitment process is fully automated and transparent, the Army said. The Army has cautioned candidates against falling prey to fraudsters claiming to influence the selection process. Aspirants are advised not to engage with such agents or agencies.( Source : Deccan Chronicle )
