Hyderabad: Women entrepreneurs explored innovation, sustainability, and global business opportunities at the Women’s International Summit on Entrepreneurship (WISE) & B2B Expo, organised by the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE).
Governor Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the two-day event and stressed the importance of technology in empowering women and making businesses scalable. Forests minister Konda Surekha highlighted government programme like Indira Mahila Shakti, which aimed to transform women into wealth creators through financial support and training.
The summit featureed discussions on topics such as e-vehicles, emerging technologies, and expanding businesses globally. The B2B Expo, showcasing products from women entrepreneurs, had over 40 buyers and 70 sellers engaging in special meets.
Shakti Awards will be presented to 108 women entrepreneurs. Supported by the Union MSME ministry, WISE aims to strengthen women-led businesses and create opportunities. COWE is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
