Jagtial forest park to be open to all on Jan. 20

Karimnagar: The Urban Forest Park being developed under the Nagar Van Yojana (NVY) at Ambaripet village in Jagtial district will provide a green environment for the residents, MLA Dr S. Sanjay Kumar said on Wednesday.

Sanjay Kumar added that the park will create a green pocket in the concrete jungle and improve the quality of life for people. The park, which will cover over 400 acres, is 2 km from the town.
The Urban Forest Park will be equipped with a variety of facilities, including a watchtower, solar-powered water pumps, and sculptures of different animals. Visitors to the park can learn about wildlife and the importance of conservation.
The park will have an investment of ₹2 crore, with funding from several sources, including the municipality, the City Development Plan (CDP), and special funds released by the district administration.
There are plans to inaugurate the park on January 20. Sanjay Kumar assured that he would continue to monitor the progress of the park's development work to ensure its timely completion.
DFO Ravi Prasad, municipal chairperson Jyothi, vice-chairman Srinivas, PACS chairman Malla Reddy, former municipal chairman Nagabhushanam, and councillors Latha, Jagan, Premalatha, Sathyam, Rajesh, Mallikarjuna, Gangamallu, and Ganga Sagar were present at the event.
