Jeevan asks KCR to accept inquiry if not guilty
KARIMNAGAR: Senior Congress leader and MLC T. Jeevan Reddy on Sunday observed that BRS party chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao will be deemed guilty in case he does not cooperate with the inquiry commission probing the irregularities that occurred under the KCR government.
Speaking to media persons in Jagtial, he criticised Chandrasekhar Rao for asking Justice Narasimha Reddy to withdraw himself from the commission.
Jeevan Reddy maintained that KCR has started fearing the commission, as irregularities are clear in establishment of the Yadadri Thermal Power Plant at Damarcherla, instead of Ramagundam, where plenty of coal is available
“Does not transporting coal to Damarcherla cause a heavy financial burden on the consumers,” he asked.
“It is like the thief only threatening the police. With an open letter, KCR is trying to threaten the officials of the power commission, thereby the judicial system,” Jeevan Reddy remarked.
