Kamareddy: Two youths, out on bail in a rape case, allegedly attacked the father of the rape victim at Raghavapalli in Nagireddypet mandal on Monday night. The incident came to light on Tuesday when the victim was shifted to a government hospital in Yellareddy. He is said to be recovering.
Jukanti Ramesh, Vutla Shyam and two others had allegedly raped a differently-abled girl in Raghavalli two years ago. They were arrested and later released on bail.
The father named his attackers as Jukanti Ramesh and Vutla Shyam. He alleged the involvement of Sailoo, elder brother of Ramesh.
Yellareddy circle inspector Ravinder Naik and Nagireddypet sub-inspector Raju visited Raghavapalli and inquired about the incident. Police have taken into custody Jukanti Ramesh, Sailoo and Shyam.
