HYDERABAD: A Kannada actress allegedly died by suicide at her residence in Kondapur at about noon on Sunday, Gachibowli station house officer Mohd Habubullah Khan said.
According to the SHO, the deceased, Shobhita, 32, was residing with her husband Sudheer, 32.
“Her husband was in a different room, working on his laptop, when the incident occurred. She locked the door of her room and died by suicide,” the official said. Her family was informed and were on their way to the city.
Meanwhile, a case was registered and the body was shifted to the Osmania mortuary for postmortem examination.
