Karnataka: Hindu Leaders Perform Pooja within Dargah Site at Aland

On Wednesday around 3 PM, a group of Hindu leaders, led by Sri Veerabhadra Shivacharya of Kadaganchi, arrived at the site.
Kalaburagi: With the High Court’s approval, Hindu leaders performed pooja at the Raghavachaitanya Shivalinga, located within the Hazrat Ladle Mashak Dargah premises in Aland, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri on Wednesday. The rituals were conducted under heavy police security.

On Wednesday around 3 PM, a group of Hindu leaders, led by Sri Veerabhadra Shivacharya of Kadaganchi, arrived at the site. The police escorted them through a designated entrance, ensuring strict security measures. Among those present were Harshananda Guttedar, Shivaraj Patil Raddewadagi, Lingarajappa Appa from Kalaburagi, and Santosh Hadimani.
The rituals, including Abhisheka, Archana, and Maha Mangalarati, were performed by Veerabhadra Swamiji as per religious traditions.
Security was significantly heightened across the city. A strong police force, led by Kalaburagi Range IGP Ajay Hilory and SP A. Srinivasalu, personally monitored the situation. Additional police officers from Bidar and Yadgir, along with reserve forces, were deployed. Prohibitory orders were imposed to prevent any disturbances.
To maintain law and order, police teams erected barricades and monitored public movement, while drone surveillance was used to keep a close watch on the situation.
Speaking on the occasion, Veerabhadra Shivacharya remarked that despite challenges, the pooja was successfully conducted on the sacred occasion of Mahashivaratri.
