Khammam: A man was electrocuted to death after unintentionally placing an electric heater under his arm while on the phone. The incident occurred in Khammam on Sunday.
According to 3-town Inspector Ramesh, the deceased, Mahesh Babu (40), a coconut vendor, was preparing to bathe his pet dog and switch on the heater. At that time, he received a phone call and became engrossed in conversation. He inadvertently placed the electric heater under his arm, leading to electrocution.
His daughter, who was present at the scene, screamed for help. Alerted by the screams, his wife, with the help of locals, rushed Mahesh Babu to the hospital. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
