Khammam: Ward officer in ACB net

Khammam: Anti Corruption Bureau(ACB) sleuths have caught a ward officer in Khammam district on Monday. He demanded Rs 2,500 from a woman applicant to process ration card and sanction of Indiramma house applications. He caught red-handedly while accepting the bribe.

In an another trap, Ch. Krishna, Assistant Engineer, Kallakal Circle and Village, Manoharabad Mandal, Medak District was caught by ACB Officials for demanding and accepting a bribe amount of Rs. 20,000/- from the complainant "to release power supply by erecting 63KVA 3-phase DTR Under LT Category III".

The Assitant Engineer had initially demanded bribe amount of Rs.30,000 from the complainant, out of which he had already accepted Rs.10,000.
