Hyderabad:Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera has approached the Telangana High Court seeking anticipatory bail, requesting protection from arrest in connection with a case registered by Assam Police at the Guwahati crime branch.
Khera has been booked on charges including providing false information, forgery, cheating, criminal intimidation, and criminal conspiracy, following allegedly defamatory remarks against Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife, Riniki Bhuyan Sharma.
