Kishan Reddy and Bandi express grief at Tirupati stampede
Union minister G. Kishan Reddy expressed shock and dismay at the death of six pilgrims in a stampede in Tirupati. He expressed profound grief at the deaths and hoped that the injured would recover from the tragedy soon.
In a release he said, “I have spoken with the AP minister Nara Lokesh, TTD chairman B.R. Naidu and member of the TTD board Bhanu Prakash Reddy and asked them to extend all necessary help to the injured.”
Responding to the incident, Union minister of state for home Bandi Sanjay sought all help be extended to the families who lost their loved ones. “Care should be taken so that such incidents do not recur again,” he said.
